Patio Covers, Pergolas & Outdoor Living in Plano

Plano is where we are based, and it is the most varied city we work in. West Plano off Preston and Legacy is full of homes built in the eighties and nineties with original driveways and patios that are now past due. East Plano and the older neighborhoods near downtown have mature pecans and live oaks whose roots have lifted sidewalks and walkways. Newer sections up near 121 are mostly builder-grade yards with a bare slab patio and a fence.

What that means practically is that most of our Plano work falls into two buckets: replacing concrete that has cracked and heaved after thirty years of clay soil movement, and finishing out backyards the builder left blank. Root damage in sidewalks and lead walks is common enough here that we check the tree line before quoting any front walk.

Because we are local, small punch items and warranty calls in Plano usually get handled the same week.

Built for Plano yards

Every yard in Plano sits on the same expansive North Texas clay, and the difference between good work and cheap work doesn't show up for two or three years. Here's what we do differently.

Base and drainage first

Excavated to real depth, base compacted in layers, drainage solved before anything is built on top.

Permits and HOA handled

City permits and inspections in Plano, plus HOA submittals using your 3D design.

Our own crews

The people who show up are ours. No brokered crews, no subcontracted finish work.

Written warranty

Workmanship warranty in the contract, on top of manufacturer warranties on materials.

3D Design

We recreate your yard in 3D and show you the finished space, with materials picked from real samples, plus an itemized written price.

Step 3

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1Do you need a permit for concrete work in Plano?

Work on private property such as a rear patio usually does not require one, but anything in the public right of way — the sidewalk, the drive approach, curb and gutter — generally does, and some cities also require the contractor to be registered. We check the rule for your Plano address before we quote so there are no surprises.

Question 2How much does a patio or paver project cost in Plano?

Price comes down to square footage, what has to be removed first, how much base work the site needs and the material you choose. That is why we walk the property instead of quoting over the phone. The written estimate breaks it out line by line so you can compare it to anything else you have.

Question 3How soon can you start a project in Plano?

Plano is inside our regular coverage area, so scheduling is usually a matter of weeks rather than months, depending on the season and the size of the job. Spring and fall book up fastest. We give you a real start date in writing, not a range.

Question 4Which services do you offer in Plano?

Everything on the outdoor side of the house: patio covers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, concrete patios and driveways, pavers, artificial turf, stone work, sod and landscaping. Most Plano projects combine two or three of these under one contract.

Question 5Do you pull permits in Plano?

Yes. We handle the city permit and inspections for covered patios, pergolas, electrical and gas work in Plano, and we prepare the HOA packet using your 3D design. Permit costs show up as a line item in your estimate.
